Cynosure Elite+ Laser Treatment Aftercare

There’s no way around it: even the very best lasers can irritate your skin. However, following the right aftercare routine can go a long way toward ensuring any side effects are minimized if you experience them at all. We recommend:

• Applying a cold compress if redness and bumps persist hours after the procedure
• Cleanse the affected area with mild soap at least twice daily
• Avoiding rubbing the affected area during the first 48 hours
• Avoiding using make-up, lotion, or deodorant for the first 24 hours
• Reducing sunlight exposure and applying sunscreen if you go outside
• Refraining from scratching the area to prevent irritation

Potential Side Effects

During treatment, it’s normal to feel a slight tingle or as if a rubber band is being snapped against your skin. Your aesthetician will do whatever they can to ensure the experience is as comfortable as it possibly can be. You may experience the following side effects after treatment:
